Surgery Opening Hours

Morning surgeries are usually booked between 9.00 am and 11.00 am and afternoon surgeries between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm. We also offer appointments between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm two evenings a week.

The receptionist will be available to take telephone calls between 8.30 am. and 6.00 pm on weekdays  

Appointments

We are constantly trying to improve patient access to the doctors. Currently, each morning we offer a walk-in clinic, based on a team approach (one Doctor and one Practice Nurse). This clinic is open between 10.00am and 11.00am each weekday morning.

We also offer routine appointments that may be booked up to two weeks in advance.

Each month we have a large number of people who do not attend and do not let us know that they cannot make their appointments. These are wasted appointments which delay others from obtaining appointments they may urgently need. Please help us by telephoning or cancelling your appointment on line  as soon as you realise you cannot attend.

Home Visits

Visits are requested via reception by telephone 9282 8281. If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
